Respondus LockDown Browser on Chromebooks

The steps below need to be done before your first exam. After you do the setup you should be able to go to the exam and start it as normal.

Install Respondus Lockdown Browser:

1. Login to D2L
   1. Username: yourStarID (Ex: ab1234cd)
   2. Password: your StarID password
2. Click Sign on with StarID
3. Scroll down to Respondus Lock Down Browser
4. Click M State Respondus LDB
5. Click the blue "Add to Chrome" button
6. Click "Add Extension" on the pop up window

Add D2L to the allow pop ups:

1. Open Google Chrome
2. Click the Menu button in the top right (3 vertical dots)
3. Then click on "Settings"
4. Click "Privacy & Security" on the left side
5. Click "Site Settings"
6. Click "Pop-ups and redirects"
7. Click "Add" next to "Allowed to send pop-ups and use redirects"
8. Type or copy "https://respondus1.d2l-partners.brightspace.com"
9. Click "Add"
