ISRS annual recertification process

Each year between Nov. 1 and Dec. 31, supervisors and approval managers at each Minnesota State college must recertify the role of end users in ISRS. The process ensures access is provided to the appropriate personnel. If this process is not completed by Dec. 31, their ISRS role(s) will expire.

Supervisors should complete these steps during the appropriate time frame:

  1. Log in to the M State employee portal
  2. Click on the SSO MinnState Apps
  3. Click the Supervisor Tab
  4. Click Supervisor View
  5. Click on the name of each employee you supervise
  6. Click Security Tab and you will see the role(s) this employee has within ISRS
  7. If the employee no longer needs access to a specific role(s), place a check in the box next to the role(s) no longer needed and click End Date All Selected
  8. If there are no changes needed to an end user's role(s), leave as is

If you have questions about this process, please contact the appropriate approval manager listed below. Approval managers are responsible for ensuring all users are recertified by Dec. 31.
