How to Charge Prints to a Different Cost Center Using PaperCut

Overview:

After your account has been added to the PaperCut application (see this article for setup instructions), you’ll see a PaperCut balance indicator pop up on your desktop. This means the application is installed and ready for use.

 

Steps to Charge Prints to a Different Cost Center:

  1. Print Your Document
    When you send a document to print, a PaperCut pop-up will appear.

  1. Choose the Charging Option
  • Charge to my personal account
    Your print job will be charged to your default cost center.
  • Charge to shared account
    Select this option if you want to charge the print job to a different cost center.
  1. Select the Shared Account
  • ​​​​​​​​​​​​​​From the drop-down list, choose the appropriate cost center.​​​​​​​
  • Click Print to complete the process.

Important Notes:

  • If you have access to multiple cost centers, they will all appear in the drop-down list.​​​​​​​
  • If you do not see a cost center you believe you should have access to, please submit a ticket. We will add it after supervisor approval.
