Webex Phone - Getting Started

How to Install Webex

1. Click the windows key on your keyboard or on your desktop task bar
   1. Type "Software Center" and click "Open"
   2. Alternatively, you should have a desktop icon for Software Center and can launch the application by double clicking the icon

2. Search for "Webex" or find the Webex Application

3. Click Install

4. The application will take ~15 minutes to install

 

 

How to Sign In to Webex

Click the windows key on your keyboard or on your desktop task bar

1. Type "Webex" and click "Open"
2. Alternatively, you should have a desktop icon for Webex and can launch the application by double clicking the icon
3. If you launch the application and nothing happens check your task tray and click the Webex icon

2. Click "Sign in":

5. Your "Email Address" is your starid@minnstate.edu, eg: ab1234cd@minnstate.edu

7. Click Next
8. If prompted, enter your starid password and Multi Factor Authentication 
9. Once you are signed in you may receive a message in regards to E911 settings, you can click "OK"
